MCSA provides housing, basic health care, educational, and support services for those in need in Muscatine County.

Celebrate the Greens Garden

A ministry of the Muscatine Church of Christ is located on the back of our property. This donation garden grows fresh produce that is donated to MCSA and families within the community. This ministry is in conjunction with Iowa State University.

Midwest Bible Camp

Located at Camp Darling Youth Center in Brighton, Iowa, Midwest Bible Camp has been providing youth development in a Christian environment since 1953.

The Muscatine Church of Christ not only sends our youth to several sessions during the 7 week-long period, we also provide staff volunteers and host the annual brunch to raise funds that support camp activities.

Shults-Lewis Child & Family Services

Located in Valparaiso, Indiana, Shults-Lewis Child & Family Services is a dynamic treatment program for struggling teens and their families They seek to prevent families from having to struggle alone by providing a residential environment staffed by Christian house parents and counselors who offer guidance, love, acceptance, and most of all, hope.

Westside Church of Christ

Located in Fort Dodge, Iowa, The Westside Church of Christ is a small congregation of God’s people in transition. The Muscatine Church of Christ is involved in the physical and financial support of the Lord’s work being done by these dedicated believers.

International Love

Sharing the Word of Christ Around the World

Scott & Shirley Raab, The Netherlands

Since 1991, this dedicated couple has been serving the Lord in Dutch-speaking Europe. They began their love and concern of this region of the world while on a student campaign from York College in the 1980s. Married in 1984, Scott and Shirley returned to the country that was calling them to help establish a church in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Today, their work includes a wide swath of the world in that region, including the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

Sue Foster, Belgium

 Sue Foster has been a missionary in Ghent, Belgium, since September 2008. Since the beginning of her time in Ghent, Sue has been involved with the Let’s Start Talking program giving conversational English lessons using the Bible as a text. She is also a member of the planning committee for the European Singles Retreat (held twice a year), has organized numerous events for children and teens, helped at Ardennes Bible Camp, and assisted several times with organizing the European Ladies’ Retreat. In 2019, Sue also began volunteering with The Helping Hand, an organization that strives to help people living in poverty by providing assistance with food and coaching. She works directly with a single mother and her children. During the pandemic, Sue also helped to start a children’s program for The Helping Hand as well as helping with group activities.  Additionally, Sue does various administrative tasks for the church in Ghent and works to help and encourage the church members.
