As we transition from the moments shared in 2022 to the promises of 2023, it’s important to pause and reflect. The past year has been enriched with the dynamic preaching of Donnie Anderson, vibrant worship, and the numerous occasions where we’ve collectively felt God’s presence and blessings. The Church is much more than a building; it’s a vibrant, living body committed to glorifying God, as we connect people to Jesus.
Practical Steps for Living the Message
To truly embrace the message shared, and live out our faith this year, consider the following practical steps:
- Engage in Community: Be a part of the local body, not just attending services but actively participating in gatherings and ministries. Whether it’s a Bible class, Silver Society luncheon, or a youth event, your presence is valued and missed when absent.
- Reach Out Intentionally: Personal Outreach remains a potent way to share Christ’s love. Think of your family, friends, and co-workers who might benefit from knowing Him personally, and don’t hesitate to have conversations of faith.
- Be Generous: Generosity extends beyond finances; it encompasses time, talents, and even simple acts of kindness. As we have seen, generosity overflows to thanksgiving to God, reinforcing our confessions of the gospel of Christ.
- Participate in Ministry: Small groups, teaching, worship leading, or even helping with community events are avenues to serve. Your input can profoundly impact others and further God’s kingdom.

Our mission remains to glorify God by connecting people to Jesus. The vision for this year includes a continued evaluation of our ministries to enhance their effectiveness. We also aim to increase our communication and community outreach, with potential initiatives involving the local school and Chamber of Commerce.
